The Pearl of Africa Necklace was made for One Mango Tree by Balungi, a Uganda-based designer focusing on natural and found objects. The Pearl of Africa Necklace is made up of a stunning combination of palm nuts, bits of acacia twigs, beads made from dried calabash (pumpkin) and banana fiber, and beads made from ostrich shells. The closure is Balungi's signature, hand-crafted from bark cloth.
